Tarraleah Scholars House has a number of single storey and studio apartments suitable for families. Choose from a 2 bedroom apartment or a single bedroom loft apartment with downstairs bunks. If you have a larger group you might like to stay in the restored art deco cottages across the green. The fun never stops at Tarraleah with activities like kayaking, bushwalking, fishing just for starters. Children love the freedom to run around the town, feeding Fergus or playing nurse to injured wildlife in the nursery. Reception have a range of games for kids including boules, bats and balls, and table tennis – don’t forget feeding Fergus and taking the weather reading at the weather station.

While the kids are amused, why not book in for a massage or a soak in the cliff top spa. Wash away the days troubles with a little glass of bubbly as you admire the view across the valley below.

In the evening enjoy gourmet treats in the Highlander Arms & a little more than most people expect from a country pub while still keeping the friendly country hospitality. Sit back in front of the fire and browse through the antiques library and learn how life used to be in Tarraleah in the 1940’s.
